Can anyone of you reading this blog right now, afford to take four weeks off?

Tough cookies!

It’s probably because you’re in the wrong business.

You see, our politicians (you know those who are paid out of our taxes) can.

Unbelievably, or perhaps not so much, the House decided to take 25 days of holidays for Easter, so parliament has now been adjourned for Monday 23rd April.

If we didn’t know any better, we’d think that we’re so sorted, everything is moving along so smoothly, Malta is flying so high over the rainbow, that there’s no urgency whatsoever to work on the 14 pending bills currently in front of the House.

To be entirely fair, The Opposition said that it was scandalized by the decision, but then again, The Opposition would wouldn’t it?

And before some wise commentary accuses me of PN-bashing, let it be known that I would have felt, and said the same thing, had Stalin, Kennedy, or Muscat been in power instead of Gonzi PN.
